This Prize-Winning Blog

Fellow writer/blogger Irene Latham of Word Lovers Unite has chosen this very location to received the Excellent Blog Award. I'm delighted, and hope you are; a blog is its commenters as much as it is the blogger. Do go visit Irene at Word Lovers. A post that might be of particular interest is Goals and Whatnot.

It is now my delightful responsibility to pass this honor on. I must tell you that I am so torn between two blogs that I insist on giving it to both. One is the newish Mystic-Lit, a collection of thoughtful writers writing about writing. There's always an interesting discussion underway here. The other is Design Your Writing Life, where Lisa Gates is doing excellent coaching with commenters. Her thoughts are insightful, and her encouragement is highly effective. I've had several bursts of productivity after visits there.

If you like this post, please bookmark it on del.icio.us, share it on StumbleUpon, vote for it on Digg. Thanks so much.

Peggy, thanks so much - I so appreciate your nod and just went to check out Lisa Gates' site - lovely!

I'm dealing with a horse with hives today so probably won't have time to get that emblem thing and figure out how to get it on mystic-lit - but I'm going to post a little thank you over there and will link to both you and Lisa in thanks. :)

Hey, you just cross-pollinated Mystic Lit and Design Your Writing Life. I wouldn't have found her without you!

I will gladly accept and pass on the honor, and I must tell your readers: hire Peggy! I did, and and it's so fabulous to have a deep review as a work is in progress. Go go go!

It was important that you two meet, Billie and Lisa. Also that your blog participants criss-cross. I'm just happy to facilitate. And thanks for the kind words about my critiquing, Lisa. Very interesting story.

That is such wonderful news, and having the award come from Irene, makes it even more special. She is such a delight.

I have been to both Mystic-Lit and Design Your Writing Life, and I agree that they are both excellent blogs. I am surprised that they were not familiar with each other. That is one thing that I love about the blogging world. The networking that occurs between bloggers is unique and productive.

Congratulations, Peggy! You deserve all of the recognition that you receive.

You seem to know the blogging world very world. Do you have a favorite blog that readers here might not know about?

Peggy, I am not a blogging expert, by any means, but I have found some that I like very much. I love The Inspired Room. It is a lovely site that features beautiful pictures and inspiration to surround yourself with things that are meaningful to you. Very enjoyable.

I just visited: assuming you're talking about the design site, http://theinspiredroom.wordpress.com/.
It does have a lovely feel. And a lot of good links too. Thanks.

Yes, Peggy, that is the correct site. I really love Melissa's ideas and her links to other sites are wonderful. Melissa, the blog owner, is a lovely person. She is very uplifting. I will have to think of some other ones that you might not have come across.

Any new ones that you have found?

Happy Saturday!
