Very nice use of what's in the yard to make a beautiful arrangement. I'm into it!
I didn't think anything could make leaves that would dwarf a big hydrangea, Mamie.
This vine grew from last year's Halloween pumpkin that I shoveled dirt on top of. It's growing huge fast.
Those are some huge pumpkin leaves, Peggy! I love that they came from last year's Halloween pumpkin. I still have some tiny pumpkins from last Halloween in a clay pot outside my house! Sometimes the birds like to break them open to eat the seeds, so I just leave them until they do. I like the little bit of Autumn on my doorstep!
I'm amazed that yours last so well, Debbie. Ours turn into orange mush pretty quickly. Maybe it's the humidity.
It probably is the humidity. The small ones always last for me and I don't have the heart to throw them away. I figure if they are that resilient, who am I to dispose of them!
Sometimes I feel that way about pulling weeds.
