A Blogging Drought?

I seem to have fallen off quite a lot in my frequency of posting. Partly because I'm so busy. And also I haven't had sufficient impulse. It's easy to get out of the habit.

Not sure whether to let the rate sag until I feel like boldly opining more. Or to keep myself cranked up and pontificating daily as has so long been my custom.

I could flip a coin daily, and then whichever came up, I'd (characteristically) do the opposite.

Maybe, boldly, I won't ponder too hard about this. Over-pondering seems to be a favorite sport of the non-bold.

Hey - I ordered this fabulous British magazine from Quail Ridge Books called Psychologies. It will have some fodder for you, and as of yesterday they had one copy left.

I think "busy" has me by the neck.

Hi, I don't know if you remember me, but you used to read Walks Around the Village. I've since made my own writing website. Come visit me sometime at www.kateevangelista.com

See you there.

Follow your gut.

My gut tells me to keep posting when I'm in the mood. Who knows, maybe that'll turn into multiple posts some days.

I'll check out Psychologies, Mamie. I like the fact that it's plural. Sort of like maths, as the British also say. It implies that there's more than one correct answer.

Kate, remind me what Walks Around the Village is. Also, I love the quote on your site:

"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."

Hi Peggy, I agree with with anon. Go with your gut. And of course I completely understand your lack of sufficient impulse. The reason that I post mostly weekly(and sometimes less) is that I am too busy or I lack the impulse. That being said, do whatever feels comfortable! I promise not to "stalk" you if you don't post for a while, but I just might bug you for a note to let me know that you are okay. I do worry when I care about someone, but as long I know that all is well, I relax.(Must be all these years of mommying!) No pressure! I do enjoy your blog, but I definitely understand falling off of the blogging routine. So write when you feel like it and only when you feel like it.

I got that same comment from Kate and I wasn't sure who she was, either, so maybe it's some sprt of spam? If you figure it out, maybe you could let me know, too.

Take good care,
Deb

My gut says: leave the current post about A Room of One's Own up for another few days.

I don't feel stalked at all, Debbie.
