Bold Color Combination

I think they're wonderful together. My husband thinks they're wonderful separate. What do you think?

I'm with Bob on this one!

Meant to add: it's not the colors - it's the feeling each one summons - busy bold fiery sunshine versus cool shaded porch.

Billie, I saw your second comment first and thought it was an argument for how well they go side by side. Funny!

AS a florist, I think you can combine almost any colors and make them work. With your red-orange and blue, I would want to add a third color - perhaps sage green - to temper the contrast. But I think they look good together anyway.

LOL - it's all in perspective! Anyway, they are both beautiful and I am wondering if they both came from your garden?

I'm thinking that if the combination appeals to you, then that is what makes it beautiful. Each one is beautiful on its own, but there is nothing wrong with putting them together.

Happy Saturday!

Hah, my first thought; they are our elementary school colors so I think they look lovely together...I think it's more about the textures of the flowers rather than the colors...soft vs. sharp...true, it's all in the perspective~

Great elementary school colors! And yes they came from my garden.
