Between Semesters

Looks like I'm finished with a large writing project. There may be a few more details, but probably not much more than that.

I like the weightless feeling that getting something done gives me. On the other hand, this was extremely interesting: revising a book on a topic that fascinates me. I'll miss it.

But I haven't arrived at that mood yet: still in the weightless period, making calls I'd put off making, spending a little more time on my novel, doing smaller critiques, not rushing back from lunch, and feeling pleasantly open to surprises.

My horoscope today on Daily Om : "Feelings of boldness and a sense of self-assurance are your likely companions as you walk through life today." Yes, indeed!

I love the feeling of a job well done. AND a horoscope that rings true. Ahhh. Accomplishment.

Turns out I did a couple of things today, Mamie, that I'd had on my list for several months. That felt major-BOLD to me, getting to those things I've neglected. So the horoscope was at least a spur, which can be as good as a prophecy.

Peggy, sounds like you are going through a period of tying things up. I do like the way that you describe it as the"weightless period". I will have to remember that one. I haven't had a weightless period for way too long, but I would love to encounter one very soon! Does the Universe take requests? Nothing major, just a bit of weightless time.

I love Daily OM, too. I get lots of interesting emails from them and I really enjoy what they send. Great horoscope! That one is definitely a keeper!

Hugs,
Deb

Debbie, I think the universe does take requests--sometimes considers them too long though. I hope you get your weightless time soon. Could you just declare it? I know that's not easy to do.

Okay, Peggy, I am going to do it. I am going to declare my weightless period and I pray that the Universe provides! I am in the center of some transformational stuff, right now, but maybe, just maybe things will shake out well.

Hugs,
Debbie

I'll send some "happy transformation" vibes your way, Debbie. Enjoy your weightless period.

I wonder if the between-semester feeling could ever become a habit.
