Jump in Soul First

"The authentic self is the soul made visible."

Sarah Ban Breathnach

It does take courage to make one's soul visible. But why cover it up with something much less interesting and alive?

Ah, Simple Abundance. I have been meaning to begin a gratitude journal for the past several days, and your post just reminded me to start it tonight! I was actually listening to an interview between Oprah and Sarah within the past few days. She kept talking about seeing the "pink books" on all of her employes desks and how she wanted one, too!

Thank you for being a messenger of the soul, once again. Somehow, ours have connected and I am so glad for the acquaintance.

Hugs,
Debbie

I understand that it takes courage to make one's soul visible (if by that one means to be completely honest, to not search for ways to make what you want to say/reveal more palatable). On the other hand, some people don't recognize it (the authentic self) when they see it, so, in hindsight, it didn't really require courage.

Sorry this is so tangled. Hope you can figure out what I'm trying to say.

I think maybe some folks do it without a second thought, Greta. Wouldn't consider anything else. My husband's a bit that way. I admire that most of the time.
